What height is the platform on the ladder?

This is a generic answer to the Louisville Fiberglass Pro Platform line. The height from the top of the platform to the top of the ladder (i.e. the length of the guard rail) is just about 3 feet on all models. The various models called 2,3,4,6,8 tell the height from the bottom of the ladder to the platform. So for instance a 2 model (the one I own) is 2 feet from ground to platform, and then a 3 foot guard rail from platform to the top of the ladder). And the closed height is exactly 63.5 inches (about 2 + about 3 = about 5 feet).

Are the footpads easily replaceable?

Don’t really know my ladder is new.

The platform is entirely made of aluminum.
