It’s very small and the light really isn’t noticeable unless you are looking for it. Very easy to install. Just plug into OBD port, and it’s working. I drive a 2017 Silverado, and the part seems to work great so far. No hard shifting noticed. The price of the product seems to be worth it when the other scenario involves changing out failed lifters in the engine. My truck just hit 90,000 miles, and I change the oil every 5000. So far no issues with lifters. 10,000 mile update. Truck just hit 100,000 miles. Still no issue with the device. I leave it plugged in while at work on a 14 and 14 rotation so my truck sits for two weeks without cranking. Haven’t had any issues with drained battery. One small thing I have noticed is that the truck shifts slightly harder when going from 3rd gear to 4th gear. It’s very faint but noticeable, and I didn’t have that issue when the device wasn’t installed. It’s not bad enough for me to worry about the transmission.
