After several applications, with more than adequate drying time between each, the divots were still visible. The fluffy consistency doesn’t work well with a spackle tool. Your best bet is to go to the store and buy a little tub of the stuff that starts out pink and dries white. I’ve had 100% success with that. But to answer your question, yes, it is paintable after drying. **Q: My walls are textured with something like a sponge and I need to fill some small holes. Can I texture this stuff when applying?** A: I believe you would be better off using a vinyl spackle or dry wall mud.
