It worked for me to take the silicone mouthpiece off, put it in this cover, align the base of the mouthpiece onto the valve, wiggle them down, and pinch them both and push down once its down the valve far enough till it feels secure. Doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere unless I take it off. As others have said, it’s nice to have peace of mind knowing my water source is kept clean. Seriously Camelbak, add the $6 to the price of your packs to include this. Cheaper alternatives do.
