Streamlight Battery Door - TLR-1/TLR-2

Perfect fit and replacement. Quality for my EDC and a cheaper option that factory.

Seems like this part is prone to breakage, I’ve found a bunch of tlr1’s broken on the second hand market. Well after buying this I think I might be in business repairing and reselling.cause all it took was 5min and some needle nose to get my light back in service. There are knock offs for like $5 less but it doesn’t make sense to buy a cheap replacement part for your high end light. You don’t put autozone parts on a Ferrari. For only $20 I was able to get a $200 light for a total of $50. So this little part is well worth the money. The TLR1 is an awesome and super bright light. There’s a reason it’s used by so many LEO’s. The batteries last forever. And it looks dang good on just about anything you put it on.

Worked like a charm. My previous battery cover/switch broke. This one went on without much fuss and worked just as good as the original one I had bought 8 years back. One note, you need to install the retention arm before reusing the metal bar/pin. If you install the bar from your old cover first you will not be able to properly install the new cover.

Worked perfect for replacing the battery door on my Streamlight TLR-1. The cost is great for the age of the light. Easy to install and fits perfectly.

Designed to fail. No matter how well you treat this light, the rear door will break. It’s too thin for the amount of pressure it’s under. I’ve found they last longer if you take the pin out that holds the retainer assembly to the door. It’s slightly less convenient but puts less stress on the area that breaks.

This is the OEM Streamlight part and fits the TLR-1 and TLR-2. It was very easy to replace on my TLR-1s and functions just like the original with momentary on or always on light. All it takes is pushing out the pin on your old battery cap, placing the new battery cap in the slot on top of the new cap and then sliding the pin back in. Done. Hopefully it will last at least as long as the original cap lasted.

This is a genuine Streamlight product, NOT aftermarket. Thank goodness Streamlight makes these available. The battery door on TLR-1s and 2s is an interesting design. I got careless with mine and broke the gasket. An intact gasket is necessary for the door to close properly. I was worried I would have to send the whole unit in for repair but instead had this at my door the next day thanks to Amazon. The replacement is a little tricky with the pin, but give yourself a little time and be patient to remove the old door and to guide the pin through the new door. Make sure the pin is properly aligned before you try to force it. I had to insert a little flathead jewelers screwdriver just prior to the second hole to lift the pin. Then it went right in. Thanks Streamlight and Amazon. Saved me a big hassle.

これはストリームライトの純正品なので加工無しで取り付け出来ます。ただAmazonの対応が悪く注文1回目は日本国内で紛失、２回目は配達中に破損、３回目の注文は配送段階までいったのですがセキュリティアクセスコードが無いので配送出来ないとの事でAmazonに問い合わせしたらUSAmazonが出荷しているからJapanAmazonは分からないとの事でしたので自分で調べて何とか商品は届きました。Amazonの商品管理のいい加減さとUSAmazonとJapanAmazonの連携が取れてないのには落胆しました。
