Review: Great product for climate controlled environments - When I bought this product I was worried about the suction, that isn’t a problem at all till it’s cold out and you want to remove them. Any other time of the year the work fine I’d just keep the backing on them when you store them when you’re not using them bc they stick to everything, but like I said in the colder months they seem to freeze to whatever they are on if they aren’t in a climate controlled environment and they are a pain to get off, but eventually they disconnect.
Review: These are a great value! - We used these suction cups to hold luggage bags down on the top of our van roof for a trip over 4,000 miles. You do need a clean surface to attach them to. One of the suction cups didn't want to stick for the first couple times, but we really cleaned the area it was to adhere to and cleaned the suction cup (after the failed attempts) and it worked great. Through wind, rain, ice and snow these kept our bags on the roof with no sliding. I definitely recommend these.

We used these suction cups to hold luggage bags down on the top of our van roof for a trip over 4,000 miles. You do need a clean surface to attach them to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good idea, and has its uses - but not sure if can depend on it

I want to set up a small awning to my car for camping. Either over the trunk - from the hatch - or to one of the sides. I have a small tarp and legs. I was going to use a bungee but couldn't get the length - and didn't want to damage my trunk. Saw these and thought I'd give them a try. First, they are quite sticky. You have to peel off a plastic cover before first using. I'm not sure how long the "sticky" will last - especially if you leave them uncovered between uses. They are extremely sticky at first - so you might want to be careful where you use them. They are a little hard to remove - just keep pulling from one corner. They don't leave any glue on the surface - at least the surfaces I've tried. To see how good the hold was, I mounted one on a bookshelf and then hung a portable bluetooth speaker from it. I'd guess the speaker weighs 2 or 3 pounds. I made sure the suction cup was correctly adjusted. After about 45 minutes I heard a thud. The sucker had come undone and the speaker dropped to the ground. I would guess the same thing is going to happen with my tarp. Any wind or pressure is going to make these fall off. Will test it out when the weather improves.
