Best Headset On The Market!!
Out of all of the headsets I went through like Razor, Turtle beach, Rig, and even the Arctics 9 which was ok until it kept breaking because of how the design is, this one has lasted the longest. I’ve had this headset for almost 4 years now and the headset is still fully functional and it only has just started wearing down. It’s definitely comfortable for long gaming sessions, it’s lightweight, has a good battery life, and has great sound quality. I would always rebuy and recommend people to buy this headset.

Perfect Headphones If You Are Plagued By Noisy Kids/Room-Mates/Neighbors
This headset works GREAT!!! I've been using it since the day I bought it, but all of my experience has been with the wireless option. I never actually tried just going 3.5mm because I haven't actually run out of battery yet (I always charge after about 15 hours of use). Battery Life: I decided recently to do a battery life test. On a full charge, I've been using mine for about 18 hours so far and they still haven't died on me (yet). The light FINALLY turned yellow last night during the middle of my session some time, and I'd say that was somewhere around the 16 hour usage mark. Will update my review when the battery finally dies on these. Sound Profile: I use it for both my Xbox One S and my Nintendo Switch, and the sound is amaze-balls! On my Xbox, I alternate between Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic (depending on which game I'm playing), but Dolby Atmos is mostly my go-to since it has the built in EQ and I can set up multiple profiles for different experiences (and also I feel like I hear better "in 3-D" with Atmos) The bass hits strong, but not overpowering, and overall the mid/high range is represented clearly as well. The sound profile on these is just AWESOME. Since Nintendo Switch doesn't have an EQ option, I am forced to use the normal sound profile but that doesn't matter because everything sounds PERFECT. As far as outside noise-cancellation: I live with a bunch of loud whiney kids (one is my own, the others are my roommates) and the over-ear design combined with the sound profile of these headphones makes for the PERFECT IN-HOME GETAWAY. When things are happening in my game or movie that I need/want to hear, I don't even notice my 10 year old making annoying sounds with his mouth as the 7 year old whines for him to stop and the other 10 year old joins in before all three get yelled at by the roommate who is watching them while it's my turn to game and zone out. During the quiet parts (loading screens etc) I can still hear a LITTLE bit of what's happening in the room, but with the volume at around 80% on the built-in volume dial and about 60% on my Xbox/Switch volume controls, I hear the game before I hear anything in the room. So even if there's noise carrying over, it's never enough to cut through my game unless I decide to turn it down. The volume knob makes it easier to hear things going on if I actually want that, but if I'm to have a conversation I have to actually take one of the cups off my ear so I can understand what's being said to me. The Detachable Microphone: My friends have told me that I sound better than anyone else they voice-chat with online, and this includes PC Gamers as well as Playstation users. That's good enough for me. I got these on Prime Day for $120 and it's the best headphone investment I've made since 2002 when I bought a $120 pair of Sennheiser noise-cancelling on-ear headphones. Honestly, I'm just so glad that instead of being let down like I usually am with headphone purchases I actually got something that impressed me and does EXACTLY what I wanted it to do in the first place. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE for parents or anyone who has noisy room-mates or neighbors.

If it's in your price range, you won't find better equipment imo.
Absolutely 1000% recommended for anyone in need of a headset that can be used for work and for play that won't leave you with buyers remorse due to lack of features. The design is perfect for long-term and daily use as well as the durability to withstand frequent/daily usage. Seamlessly switches from receiver pairing and Bluetooth modes whenever needed and the level of customization is more than satisfactory. The PC app required to setup/update the software could be better designed and implemented but very minor impact on the overall quality of the product. Sound quality and ability to control the volume input/output using presets and mute button leaves little else to want for. Charge lasts me about 3 business days of full-time use taking calls and my audio comes through with a high degree of sound quality. My only other gripe is that the mic can be somewhat too sensitive and I found it slightly difficult to find the happy equilibrium of sensitivity and noise-cancelling but once found there's no greater value for your money. Highly recommend if it's in your budget.

Lotta bang for your buck.
I’ve had this headset for two years and use it extensively on my PC and Series X. - The sound quality is fine for the price. A little weak on the bass side but not a deal breaker by any means. - The battery life is godly. A single charge will last me for days. I never feel annoyed when I have to charge it because I get so much use out a single charge. - I absolutely love is the design of the thing. It’s so sleek and low profile, especially compared to its big brother the 9x. Other headsets are bulky and look goofy on your head, not these though. You can even detach the mic which is very nice. They are also very light and comfortable. - The only downside is having to use a USB dongle, and you have to switch the dongle to PC or Xbox depending on which device you’re using. Kinda lame but not the end of the world. - No disconnect issues that others have reported. I’m guessing their devices were faulty. Connecting to my PC/Xbox is super easy and not finicky like other wireless headsets I’ve owned. - I recently upgraded to the 9x because I needed another headset and it’s nice because there’s no need for a dongle and the sound quality is better. I still much prefer the Arctis 1 and in hindsight I would have grabbed a second one instead of paying a premium for the Arctis 9. I’ll keep using my Arctic 1 because I love the thing.

This is a great headset.
This is a great headset! The sound is amazing and it hugs the head tightly which is very nice. I dislike a loose headset. The sound quality is great and I have used it a ton and it has yet to show any signs of deterioration. This is a great product.

Mic lasted 5 months
Unfortunately the mic on the Arctis 1 only lasted for 5 months. It never sounded good at all, it was like you were in a hole and very weak sounding. After 5 months of use it began to cut out altogether, it was choppy, garbled and mechanical. I don't know if we just got a bad unit or what but a mic should last longer than just 5 months. We tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, that didn't help. There really isn't much you can troubleshoot, it's just a bad mic. Pros: Great battery life, Sounds coming through the headset are very good Cons: The mic is junk, No Return policy after 30 days, stuck with a non functioning headset Overall, I do not recommend this product due to poor quality components.

Worth the price
Compared to other headsets I have purchases in the same price range - this headset is phenomenal. Very good sound quality, and others have said I sound good over the microphone. Really simple Bluetooth use as well, since it comes paired before use. Only downside is that even though it is Bluetooth, it only has bluetooth compatibility with the bluetooth plugin that comes with the headset, so if you were to ever lose that, you would be limited to using the aux plugin. Overall these headphones are great quality for the price

Great Headset
I have had this headset for over 4 years, and have yet to encounter any issues with it. I use this headset nearly every day. It shows no sign of deteriorating even after all of the use. The sound is great and they are comfortable. Mic quality is nothing spectacular but is certainly not bad. I usually game for 3 or more hours every night, and I am able to go multiple days without having to charge it. A very good product. At this price, and compared to other headsets this price or more, $100 for this headset seems amazing. After four years now, there’s been virtually no decline except I had to replace the microphone which you can order straight from Steelseries. Highly recommend this headset.

10/10
These gaming headphones are great, I used one pair for 2+ years without any issues at all, I ended up dropping them one too many times and had to buy another after nearly 3 full years of use and funny enough I bought the exact same headset because of how impressed I was with the quality/experience. They're very comfortable forgiving if dropped due to the lightweight and flexible build. Honestly, having the wireless option is so much better than anything else offered on the market, if you're looking for a wireless gaming headset, look no further.
