Tear off a piece of the pre-cut Super Floss strand (about 18 inches). 2. Hold the strand tightly between your thumb and index fingers, about 1 inch from the stiffened end. 3. Insert the stiffened end between the teeth and gently slide it under the archwire or between the teeth and gums to the gumline. 4. Curve the floss around the tooth and gently move it up and down against the side of each tooth to clean around appliances and in wide spaces. 5. Unwind the floss and repeat steps 3-4 for the adjacent tooth. 6. Use the regular floss section to remove plaque under the gumline. 7. The Oral-B Team **Q: Are these reusable or single use, if reusable, how many times can they be reused?** A: The end is supposed to remain stiff, but sadly it bends about 1/4 " after just 1 use , after 1 time., rendering it useless. My solution is to just cut off the end with a scissor when this happens. Keep cutting, and you can re-use it several times, sometimes several days , until the end is no longer stiff and viable. **Q: Ingredients list?, please.** A: I do not see any ingredients list on the box anywhere. Is it a plane? No, it's Super-Floss ! *by R***D on 15 January 2016* Getting old isn't fun is it? Your teeth fall out, your knees hurt. And then you have to go round finding niche products to keep you patched up. I'd hunted around on the high street when my dentist told me I needed to use these after my bridge was installed (he never mentioned this before!). I had no luck. So off to Amazon, and I find them. Not a bad price either, which is good news given the bruising my wallet took at the dentists! Ordered Monday, arrived Wednesday. So far so good. On opening a box, it becomes clear that you need to take care when removing one of the flosses from the inner bag as they all want to come out at once. I'm the sort of person that would end up knotting the bloody lot together given half a chance. With one removed (and a few stuffed back in), I proceed to attempt to "poke" the string at the bottom of the bridge. This turns out to be a lot fiddlier than I expected. The end is firmer than regular floss, but takes some practise to find the right amount of pressure to apply in exactly the right spot. I defy anyone to do it without using a mirror! With the floss through, I readily slid the spongy bit to and fro, and am pleased with the final result. So I give this four stars, based on the excellent delivery, and it doing the job in an albeit fiddly way.
