## Description

20/20 Vision Panoramic Rear View Mirror - 17 inches

Review: Great mirror if it comes in one piece - Very easy to install. If you can use a phillips-head you can do it. I bought one for my 87 year old mother-in-law, who backs up without turning around. She can now see the full rear, and out the sides of both rear windows, from this rear view mirror. That, along with the beeping backup bulbs I put in last year, makes me feel better about the situation. I ordered an extra one to put in my wife's Dodge Magnum, due to the horrible blind spots from the little rear windows, and tiny-tiny factory rear view mirror. It worked beautiful. We both were very pleased. I went to my mother-in-laws house the next day to install hers and found out that one had been severely damaged in shipping. About 3 inches or so of the center of the mirror was cracked. I took the one off my wife's car to put on the mother-in-laws to await a return for refund, and subsequent replacement. I did get the refund of 1/2 my original $40 cost, which had free shipping, with no problems. When I went to order the replacement, I saw that, with the vendor's price increase, and not qualifying for free shipping with just one in the order, I would be paying almost 40% more per unit to replace the one I received broken. I sent an email directly to the vendor requesting another one for the same $20 to replace the one that arrived broken. I waited two days, with no response. So I googled for the name of the mirror manufacturer and found another site that would send just one (but I also order even another one for my truck), with free shipping, for close enough to the original $20 per unit. It arrived in one piece, in a package that was protected much better than the first two came in. It turned out to be the 13"(the picture on the site looked the same and it did not specify the inches) instead of the 17", but that size works better in the Magnum. It was a better size for my Ford Ranger as well. The difference between how good the rear view vision is between the 17" and 13" is so negligible, I think the 13" would probably be better suited for all but large, four door sedans. You will have an issue with the visors in a lot of cars, especially on the driver's side, hitting the 17" mirror when you flip them up to block the sun. I never did receive any response whatsoever from the original vendor, after almost one month, and counting.
Review: excellent, just check the size before you buy it. - I just purchased and installed the 20/20 Vision Panoramic Rear View Mirror - 17 inches. It feels solid and well made and the mirror is crystal clear - definitely more definition than the factory mirror. Here are the things I recommend you consider before buying. 1. The 20/20 will very likely overlap with your sun visor. 2. If your head hits (or comes close to hitting) your factory rear mirror when you lean forward, then the 20/20 mirror will definitely be too close and in your way. Consider that when it is mounted atop the existing mirror it will be about 3/4 of an inch closer to you. 3. Measure your factory mirror's thickness. It is going to be dicey if it's more than 3" - 3 1/2". My factory mirror is just less than 2" and the 20/20 fit with room to spare. I mounted and tightened it in about 1 minute with a simple Phillips screw driver. On my left, my head blocks the view (I have 2004 toyota echo hatchback) so I decided to adjust the mirror for an even fuller view on the right side. I compensated for the left side blindspot (which was actually reduced a bit by the 20/20) by adjusting my car's left side mirror. It picks up where the 20/20 falls short. By positioning my side mirrors strategically, I have zero blind spots. With side mirrors adjusted like this, you have to lean over to see the curb when you are parallel parking. For me, it's worth it and lovely to drive with such awesome vision behind and around my car. I was driving at dusk tonight in the rain and didn't notice any glare from the cars behind me. I am happy I bought this thing, despite the more negative reviews. I think many of those people failed to measure their factory mirrors before purchasing the 20/20. Good luck!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it fit toyoto highlander from year 13**
A: It does fit my 2006 Subaru Forester. It mounted right over the existing mirror. I think it should your car but not sure.

**Q: Does this fit the toyota sienna (2014) & how well does it stay on while on a bumpy road?**
A: Howard, I bought two different mirrors, one was approx. 12 inches...one was 17 inches...I would measure the distance between the "visors" on this Toyota. Then verify that this new mirror will allow you to "drop" the visor...Both mirrors are adjustable and fit loosely but once fitted they don't seem to "jingle" on bumpy roads. Hope this helps. Tom, Illinois

**Q: does this mirror fits my acura mdx 2001**
A: If you rear view mirror is of the "Standard type", it should fit. The "Panoramic" mirror has two (2) adjustable set screws to fit just about any height. You need to measure though the distance between your existing mirror and the sun visor to ensure adequate width. Outside of that, it works great. Excellent visibility.

**Q: Does it block the sun visors?**
A: This was installed in a Toyota Camry. Putting the sun visors up and down is more difficult, but not impossible in this car.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good mirror, not quite great.
*by D***L on August 4, 2016*

Very useful item. Doesn't fit my mirror especially well ('04 Sprinter Van). If your mirror vibrates at all, you'll probably notice it all the more with this mirror. The fastening arrangement to the mirror could be better, which is why it's not a 5 star item. The functionality and concept, and mirror itself are great. The mirror is HUGE, which depending on the vehicle might be good, might not. The field of vision is superior, and it makes driving easier, basically eliminating blind spots. There is no day/night function, but bright lights become less irritating due to the convex mirror, so the result is that you don't really need a day/night feature.
