Physical copies are becoming more and more rare, but right now the prices are lower than they have ever been, so go for it. You also get a digital download code inside that you can redeem through Funimation. This lets you watch it through the Funimation platform at anytime and even download it to your device for times when you have no internet access or Blu-ray capabilities. The Blu-rays themselves have options for both the original Japanese version with English subtitles and the English dubbed version. It will default to the English dubbed version by default but if your like me and prefer the original Japanese version you will need to go in the menu settings and change it before playing.Picture quality is great and it’s nice to know I can watch it anytime without worrying about Funimation or CrunchyRoll removing it from the platform. It’s also great having the bonus final episode that was released later on included with the set. Most platforms do not have the bonus episode so you have to hunt it down.I highly recommend purchasing this Blu-ray if your a fan of Future Diary. Whether it’s to rewatch the series or watch it for your first time, you will not be disappointed with this series. It is a bit pricey but good luck finding it cheaper in new condition anywhere else.
