Review: Brightens up the bathroom with its solid traditional design - Love the plush feel and traditional design with black & white that pop out in a very bland powder room that needed some pizazz.
Review: Great product, well worth the money - I wanted to make sure the review I leave was accurate and informative so I specifically waited in order to allow enough time to pass so as to give a full review. I bought these rugs in September 2020 for my bathroom. I only have 1 bathroom in my house which is small (gasp), so I wanted the bathroom to look nice when guests come over. I only paid $20 for these rugs but the fact that they have lasted for almost 3 years is a telling story. I live in a clown car house with my rescue animals (2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parrots & a bunny) so I can't keep this house pristine clean like I want to. Add to it the fact that I have a husband that lives with me and a grandson that stays with us often so you can only imagine my pain. (And since my daughter is pregnant, eventually my granddaughter will be staying with us often as well). :) We recently updated our very ugly & outdated bathroom that hadn't been touched in over 20 years. I would have loved to have been able to update it sooner but we are financially challenged. Any extra money we get goes into caring for my 8 rescues and medical bills that are drowning us in debt due to my husband having cancer. Our credit is so bad because of it, we wouldn't even be able to finance a guppy if we wanted. Sad but true. (Not that I need another animal in this house). I love everything farmhouse and although my bathroom didn't support the farmhouse vibe when I bought these rugs, they just made the room look nice. (As nice as our ugly bathroom could possibly look). They are thin rugs, not super plush but they aren't so thin that paper would be thicker. The design is nice, they stay in place when I put them on the floor and despite 50+ washes they have sustained in the time I've had them, the backing is not only still intact, it's not cracking. Even though they aren't plush, they are absorbent. . They do get dirty pretty quickly because like I said, I live in a clown car house. The dogs don't wipe their feet and the hubs doesn't take off his shoes when he comes in and out of the house. (I've tried to trade the hubs in for a newer model but the manufacturer wouldn't take him back so I'm stuck with him). I posted pics of what the rugs look like today, almost 3 years after buying them. They were just washed so they are clean. They do have a little staining in the white so I did add a tiny bit of bleach to the laundry detergent so that seemed to make them brighter but I don't recommend doing that often as the backing may eventually start to fail. I wash in a front loader washing machine and while I don't use the delicate cycle, I only use cold water. I only use Tide and I put a small amount of Downy fabric softener in the dispenser so the rugs stay soft. To dry, I either put them outside (not in the sun) or put them in the dryer on no heat. Like I said, I only paid $20 for them and to me, it was a good investment. I just updated my bathroom with an industrial farmhouse motif and although I would have loved to buy new rugs, I decided to keep these rugs for now. The bathroom isn't completed yet but it was enough that we were able to have guests over for the surprise baby shower I threw for my daughter which was done on a dime. Because we are financially challenged, we reused what we could in order to update our bathroom. The flooring came from a home improvement store and since we have a small bathroom, the expense was under $100. The vanity is a dresser I had. (I refinish furniture so I have several pieces of furniture in my shed). I pulled it out, stripped, sanded, cleaned & painted it. The shiplap wall is faux nickel gap using plywood. It's not perfect but neither are we. The wood accents (mirror frame, shelves & light above vanity) is a floor joist out of a 150 year old home that I had on hand. (I bought the wood from an auction along with a ton other pieces of wood and the total cost me $1.30 plus gas. No, I did not make a mistake on the price. I legit paid one dollar and thirty cents for about 200 different pieces of wood. I was actually going to sell some of the wood but glad I didn't. I told the hubs what I wanted and he did it. I am not fond of the stain I used on top of the dresser. I wanted it to match the wood accents but I missed the mark by a mile. Ooops. The vessel sink & faucet are new. I bought them from desertcart and I think for the 2, it came in at just over $100. The hubs still has to install 2 sconces on either side of the mirror which will have wood behind them along with the the toilet paper holder. The window will be getting new trim as well. I still have touch ups to do and then I can decorate and the bathroom will be complete. Please excuse the unfinished product. I just wanted you to see how well the rugs held up over the years. Everybody that sees this bathroom loves it and now they're asking us to update their bathroom for them. We are still trying to recover from our upgrade and we're not even finished yet. Ugh!!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it get wet?**
A: Yes but it takes forever to dry.

**Q: Does this slip when wet?**
A: No.

**Q: What is the width of the part of the rug that goes around the toilet? The last rug I bought didn’t fit**
A: Unable to measure at the moment but I will say this: I think it’s designed for a newer, narrower at the base toilet. Mine is older and is wider at the base and the rug doesn’t fit. I use it anyway.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ would buy again
*by A***G on September 17, 2025*

These are great rugs, but they slip easily when moving about on tile floors. They are soft underfoot and have lasted a long time now. They do wick away the water from the feet when you step out of the shower. The color is true to the picture. Overall, I would buy again
