I do not know where the Mickey Mouse Jack-in-the-Box is made but I am guessing China. It was a gift for my one-year-old granddaughter and she loves it. Every time we turn the handle and the music plays she knows when it is going to pop up and she always jumps up and laughs. When you turn the handle, you have to turn it at a certain speed to actually understand what song it is playing. My GD does have a hard time doing it herself but that is basically due to her age. My 3-year-old granddaughter has no problem using it. It is not a heavy box, kind of a thin tin box and Mickey's quality is ok.
