It is thinner than a similar towel I have but does seem to absorb well so I think I will like it. The reason I gave 3 stars for this "set" is the other "towel", NOT! Think of the little cloth for cleaning your glasses that comes in the glasses case and you'll know what this looks and feels like. I can't think of a single use for it.
