I'd been looking for a more mellow, less acidic tea for many years and this is it. In comparison, PG Tips is very acidic to my taste. It made a good strong cup, I could even say it had a "sharp" flavor, but it left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. Welsh Brew leaves no bitter aftertaste. It's smooth and leans toward the sweet side of tea flavor. As another reviewer put it, it's a good "anytime" tea.
