That may or may not be true for yours. Seems Ford changed these units in that year. So there are (2) Four Seasons part numbers.#83042 has a 5/8" outlet (the 3 ring tube you push into the top hole). And #83144 which has a 3/4" outlet. You should really pull the vacuum first before wasting any money on freon to make sure charge will hold and not leak out. If you don't, and just add freon, you will end up with 50-50% freon-air mix, at best, and it's freon-humid air mix in many places in US.
