The price was good for what it is, but there are cheaper options. I opted to go for this one because it was mid range and had the activated carbon in it. If you haven't replaced one in a mini before, the door is under the glove box, and the filter slides into some curved rails to guide it into place. The previous owner of my car didn't see the tiny guide rails because it was just shoved in.
Review: Cleaner air, less musty! - This fit perfectly in my 2012 mini cooper hardtop. I hadn’t changed the filter since buying the car years ago, and thought it was probably important to do so. The old filter was so disgusting, I’m glad I changed it. This filter feels nice and maybe it’s just a placebo but I really do feel like the air conditioning in my car smells less musty after having replaced the ancient filter. It was super easy to replace, the spot for it in my car was right under the glove compartment. So far it’s working well. Totally worth it.
