It is pretty easy to use, but it does take a decent amount of strength to attach and detach the pieces. It is sturdy, and a good value for the money since it can be used in a lot of different projects. It functions well and unlike some looms that can be changed out by parts, this one will not fall apart mid project and can take some abuse if you are a loom knitter that knits tight loops.
