Sharpens all our knives satisfactorily.  Surprised you have to hold the edge whilst sharpening a knife as this could be a hazard. Should consider fitting it with suction rubber feet so it would be hands free whilst in use

Blunt knives don’t go where you want. But a sharp knife does, and this sharpener make sure they are sharp. Probably the best counter top sharpener there is!

The blade holders are plastic and bend in use, which caused the sharpening blade to snap!The sharpening blades are NOT tungsten carbide! See the attached photo, you can see the blade is badly scored! This was supposed to be TC! One of the hardest metals available.Do not buy! Do not waste your money and time!Contacted the seller, still waiting for response, the seller has now been removed from Amazon and you can no longer buy the item in question.I have got a refund from Amazon, Amazon are the best to deal with as always.
