I've found the geometry presses extractions towards the center of the portafilter. While it varies by coffee, this base helps offset the natural tendency of outer circumference over extractions. anyway, the base is of the same quality of what came with the Force Tamper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun but keep a brush on hand *by J***L on February 29, 2024* I am not sold this design does anything for the outcome of the coffee but it sure is fun to use. One thing to keep in mind is that the design is susceptible to coffee grounds getting stuck in the grooves of the design.
