The Hunter® Kids Original Kids' First Classic Gloss Rain Boot is a specialized children's rain boot, designed for growing feet, with a gloss finish. The Wellington design has a flatter sole and rounder foot ensure this style is easier to walk in. A wider upper leg offers freedom of movement, as well as making the putting-on and taking-off process easier. Hunter is a British Heritage brand, making boots for over 160 years and with two royal warrants.
Hunter™ boots are made by hand using 28 individual parts and a fine attention to detail. 
Made of vulcanized natural rubber.
Knee-high fit insures that no moisture gets in.
Comfort cushioned footbed.
Reflective safety patches.
Woven nylon lining.
Calendered natural rubber outsole for sure footing.
The brand advises that a white wax film may appear on the surface of the rubber boots and that it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. This "blooming" effect is not a defect. Blooming is caused when the boots are exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature swings and the wax helps prevent the rubber from weathering.
Please note: Shaft heights will vary from size to size. For example, 11.00" shaft height is for a size 2 Youth.

My daughter is obsessed with them. True to size and they stretch out with frequent wear, so take that in mind if you're ordering for room to grow: I read other reviews and ordered a size up and they worked decently in length but they fell off her feet because the leg openeings were too big. We settled on her true to size and they were perfect. I kept the bigger pair for later because she loves them so. Sturdy and still look shiny and new; even after wearing them every day for months.

I love these boots for my 4 year old daughter. This is her second pair. Her first pair she's had for two years and they're still in good enough condition to pass down to her little sister. They slip on and off easily, which is important for children and they keep her dry on rainy/muddy days. They are her "go to" play boots. They're also adorable and stylish and every girl deserves a pair of Hunter boots!!

These boots are easy to put on and light weight compared to other rain boots we had tried on for my son. He loves them so much he wears them all the time regardless of the weather forecast. We’ve had these for about a month and so far we are happy and son loves them.
