This replacement resolved that issue completely, and my HP printer accepted it as an original replacement. I haven't had similar experiences with inexpensive replacements cartridges, but this one seems to work without question. Print is sharp and clear; I can't tell the difference between pages printed with the replacement versus the HP drum.
