How well does this product drill?

I drilled two holes for chain very easily.... I did make sure there was wood behind it to drill into and made sure my bit was really new. They are working for our covid-19 prevention screens

Is this product both transparent and sturdy enough to serve as a cover or a shield for a large paper wargame map?

I used them as a protective covering for a painted shelf. It is clear and you can see the paint under them. I have some obsidian artwork and it is strong enough to protect the paint.

Why did this material get hrd and brittle and warp in 5weeks? I used it just as others had reviewed to protect my screendoor from puppy scratching?

You may have had a defective piece.. I bought mine and put it up for my puppy protection 7 months ago and its still perfect... So, I'm not sure why yours is warping and brittle now unless its defective?? Did you try one of the other pieces in the package to see if all three do the same thing?
