I also appreciate being able to freeze them in this container and the flat shape makes it easy to store in my freezer. For veggie burgers, I find this tool works better a different way. With meat patties it sense to fill in the the open area and press down the mold section to divide the burgers. With veggie burgers I have found it better to fill in the mold/divided area and use the open area half to press down on them to create the individual burgers. With the right recipe, burger binder (We use egg substitute binder) and enough burger pressed into the sections, the burgers come out of the mold very well. Just let them sit a few minutes in the container to tighten up. I tend to cook them first before freezing them and I actually put them back into this container to freeze them. I do find this product to be a bit on the expensive side for being some injected mold silicone product. However, this product will last a lifetime since it is solid and I appreciate the fact that it is made in Canada, which is worth a premium in my opinion. Overall, I really appreciate this container and it has made making veggie burger a lot more consistent and reliable. I am happy to give it a 5 star rating. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as advertised *by D***X on May 31, 2020* What I got with this product was a nice thick silicone burger mold. It works fine. My only problem is that the burgers are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but they will fit in those cheap buns you find that are also tiny so that isn't a terrible thing. It's also just a great way to break up that large package of burger you bought and freeze it without having to worry about room for a sheet pan or it flipping over. You can toss this in the freezer in whatever angle you want and it will be fine, that's a big bonus for parting out burger packs in my book. I give it a buy based on that alone. You may even want 2 or 3 just to do it all in one go, they don't take up much space storage wise. I didn't store my burger in one so I can't comment on that, but I do believe that if it were sealed properly it would hold your burger in better stead than a plastic bag. I always get ice in those. On the seal, it does overlap and lock down. If you don't overfill it should be air tight and freezer safe for a long period. I would recommend if you need something to freeze some quantities that are known for whatever reason. Having a bunch of same sized patties makes it easy to not "overbeef" your meals and you can stretch your meat supply, something that seems to be prudent these days.
