Great for eczema

I love Cetaphil. It makes your skin feel like silk, however, I don't think this last order I received was Cetaphil. I was alarmed when I opened the package and the jar of Cetaphil was not sealed like it normally is. All of my past orders of Cetaphil have been sealed with a clear wrap. It does not feel like Cetaphil either. Cetaphil soaks right into your skin and leaves no sticky or greasy feel. This jar of lotion does not feel the same. I had a little bit of my older Cetaphil left and I compared the feel and texture of the lotion and it was not the same. It looks like the jar had been opened or reused and filled with a different lotion. Cetaphil is light and has no smell, just a clean feeling. I could be all wrong but this jar is not the same.

This cream restores the moisture in loved one’s skin. My loved one in the nursing developed a bad skin condition from stage 3 kidney disease which caused her skin to become so dry it flacked and itched horribly. This cream is helping her skin stay soft and moist stopping the itching.

I had seen several reviews saying that this lotion is fake or an off brand lotion with the same name, but I am here to say no that is not true. In my photo, the container on the left is Cetaphil that I bought at Walmart about 4 years ago (for the same price as this container I might add). The container on the right is Cetaphil I bought from Amazon. When you buy Cetaphil the only thing stopping a person from taking a scoop out of the jar is a clear sticker with CETAPHIL printed on it. If you look on the container on the left, the one I bought at Walmart, you will see the clear sticker. The container from Amazon has that as well. The reason I bring this up is because some reviews thought the odd sticker was evidence it was a fake. It's not. They just have strange security measures. Other reviews have said that because the stickers on the jar itself were crooked or lopsided that there is no way quality assurance would have let these containers pass out the door.... well they did. Now for the quality of the product. I LOVE THIS STUFF. During the winter I have terribly dry and cracked hands and skin. So dry that my hands bleed sometimes. This stuff works wonders! I use it for my face and body and it leaves my skin super soft and moisturized. I recommend this to everyone and anyone who have dry skin. It is wonderful!

I really like this product. I live in NH, winters are cold and the heat has a drying affect on everything, even with a humidifier. I use it after showering, just a light application on arms legs and torso. My skin feels more moisturized and it has a sealing property that I feel keeps the moisture in . Non scented as well so doesn't fight with any fragrances you might choose to wear.

I recieved this a couple days before my annual dermatology exam. I have very dry skin in the winter and this gave me instant and long lasting relief. It dries quick and is not greasy like many others. When I saw my Dermatologist he gave me a list of recommended moisturizers and this was on the list.
