These are great. I am a dentist. We use these at home for regular dental purposes, for example to clean my husband's retainer. They work well. I would especially recommend pairing these with an electric ultrasonic cleaner (available for decent prices on amazon). The combo keeps his retainer fresh and clean. We also use these in bedside urinals. I know, TMI. We have people in our household that suffer with incontinence. I place one tablet in a rinsed out urinal when not in use and it keeps them fresher for longer. We used to use a more expensive brand, which was awesome too, but efferdent does a good enough job for a fraction of the price!

I use these to clean my water bottles instead of the incredibly overpriced bottle bright tablets. These have the same ingredients and are just as effective for a much cheaper price. I do notice a slight chemical smell but it rinses off easily. If it remains after rinsing a quick brush with dish soap should get rid of the smell/taste. I’m just talking about water bottles here, obviously don’t use dish soap on your dentures or retainer!

Definitely not as effective as other tablets like Polident or Pearlie white. My retainers still had some lingering foul smell with it, which other brands could eliminate. i tested this a few times to be sure.
