Unfortunately iPhones are not yet waterproof and lack any real swimming skills. $1200 dollars in we decided we should buy the $7.00 protective bag. We took them on a cruise to Mexico and used them to store all of our important things like money, credit cards, cash, and our phones so we didn't have to leave them on the beach when we went in the ocean. I didn't notice any leaks what so ever. This held much more than a phone. We also used the camera function and it works as well. I didn't try the camera function underwater. Anyway I decided to try it because it got good reviews anyhow, and it leaked water. This says it can be submerged but I didn't even submerge it, I took it in the shower and water still got in. All in all really sh*tty design and almost ruined my phone.
