Boaters, DIYers, this is the new HOLY GRAIL
I know, people here think that this stuff is expensive. And that is because they are ARTISTS, not BOATERS. Wait until someone take the same product and puts it in a box written "marine" on it, you'll see. For a boater, this stuff is a hidden gem.I was looking for a better alternative than the overpriced marine-tex and other crappy epoxy available in the marine world, not even because of the price, but because of: 1/ the crazy toxicity of the marine products 2/ the ridiculously short working time 3/ the hard to smooth, impossible to shape texture 4/ the necessity to sand forever after it dries (because you couldn't get it perfectly to shape). 5/ the waste of half of the product on the mixing surface and mixing stick, and the other half while sanding the excess (yes, I know, that makes 100%. I'm exaggerating, but just a little)THIS PRODUCT IS A MIRACLE. Let me list here the amazing benefits of this product:1/ it is epoxy. This means super strong, waterproof, UV-resistant, can be used inside, outside, underwater, under the water line, on wood, on fiberglass, on metal, on whatever you throw at it. Epoxy rules.2/ it is EASY to mix and work with. As easy as play-doh.3/ it is VERY EASY to smooth/shape/blend! just put soapy water on your finger and it becomes a magic wand. you can blend pieces together, smooth them out, just by passing a finger on top. Crazy.4/ there is a GREAT working time of over 2 hours. No rush, mistakes can be corrected easily.5/ there is virtually NO WASTE, as every little piece of it can be collected and reused (within the 2 hours). This makes this product infinitely cheaper than any other epoxy mix, where the waste is the major part of the product.6/ it doesn't create an expensive mess. It is easy to clean, easy to apply, easy, easy, easy.7/ it SAVES A TON OF TIME. The ability to smooth it, reuse it, cut it, modify it, work on it without rushing, makes it possible to create a finish product in one step, with no need for sanding, no need for cleaning (both can be very time consuming with regular epoxy / fiberglass).8/ it is NOT TOXIC like other epoxy! No crazy fumes when mixing, and the product won't burn a hole through your hands if you hold it. In fact, you can be in direct contact without feeling anything, and cleaning your hands after is a breeze. No more working with a respirator and gloves! As a disclaimer, I'd say that I don't know for a fact that it is not toxic, but it doesn't feel or smell toxic in any way. If you've been working with marine-tex, you'll know what i mean.9/ Of course it dries by itself, which is normal for an epoxy, but I guess that if you're an artist, you care about that (as opposed to clay). This stuff is my new religion. Seriously. One thing, though: it is NOT WHITE. it is a light shade of gray, very pleasant, but not a white. However, it is epoxy, and can be tinted, painted, stained, varnished, whatever you need to do to color match (which is always necessary anyways, even for white on white).BOATER FELLOW, DIYers, Homeowners, BUY THIS STUFF! As for artists, I don't know how it compares to other products, but my guess is that it will be pretty hard to beat this champ.

Easier way to craft
I fixed a really old skull with this and it turned out amazing. Will definitely use this again for other projects

Works Great
It said the color could be changed by working in alcohol inks. This is not easy and it took ALOT of inks to barely change the color. I also read you could sand and apply ink to cured product, but we shall see. Otherwise, it works well. It was easy to combine and sculpt into the desired shape. It smooths well with a wet finger or you can texturize with a cloth or paper towel. Dries quickly and hard without any shrinkage. I would buy again knowing painting will be the best way to result in color.

Works just like greenstuff but way cheaper
Used for customizing my tabletop war-gaming miniatures and repairing damage to resin figurines and sculptures. It works like GreenStuff if you are familiar with that. mix part A and B and then you have some time to sculpt it into whatever you want. As it cures it goes through various stages of workability. It will be a little more sticky early on and then as it firms up you will be able to using sculpting tools to create all sorts of detail with finer details being easier early on and smoothing being easier a bit later. Once cured it is very hard and can be sanded or painted.Between this and some model paints I've been able to save quite a few little resin figures that got chipped when they got knocked of their shelves. When done well the repairs are barely noticeable and very well adhered to the original piece.Once cured it lasts forever and doesn't discolor but stored in the tubs I've noticed that my part B developed a yellow orange film where its exposed to air. Part A has no problems. They still both work even with the yellowing of the top of the part B stuff but even after over 8 years of having the tubs the stuff under that top yellowed layer still looks fine.

Great product you can use it in the marine environment
I have used over 8 pounds of this because I do a lot of repairs on my sailboat and use it for so many things. It really is a very good Epoxy. And it can even Harden underwater. It sets up Fairly fast, but not too fast and gives you the time to work with it. What makes it so easy to use Is that The wo parts Are colored white and Gray, so it's easy to mush them together until one solid color Which turns out to be a off-white color in my opinion. Once it's one color it's ready to use. The last order I sent was 1 pound. to my brother-in-law and his wife but usually I ordere 4 pounds of it as it does not seem to spoil or get hard Over time And I have been able to use this after it's been in storage for Over a year. I highly recommend it.For home, use or boat, use anywhere really.

9.5/10 highly recommended!
I bought this clay to help sculpt the hair and tiny details on my action figure of my oc! It dries pretty well and when you apply a little bit of water it will seal any small cracks or gaps you might have (of course depending on how much water you put) overall, it’s a very good size and once you find a good place to store it, you can definitely use this type of clay for small projects! I will say that if you don’t like to wait till the next day or two for it to completely dry then perhaps don’t get this type of clay but the clay itself is pretty flexible but maybe that’s just because I don’t really work with clay. The color dries to a nice light grey color and you can always add a little water for it once’s it’s dry to make any touch ups! My paint job is not the best but the color of the paint stays on pretty well!

Try it to believe it.
If you've never sculpted with this modeling compound you will be amazed. Works well down to the tiniest detail, adheres well to other surfaces and dries soooo hard and tough!

Multipurpose medium for myriad of uses
Finally got around to using this for a test project (outdoor|weather safe dragon eggs) and imho they turned out pretty great. The only thing left in question is its durability outside, so I will update this in the future.Follow the directions and you should be good to go. This is a really cool product that's relatively easy to use, even for first time users like me. If you have never used it before I recommend mixing a small portion at first so you can figure out how much you can handle at once before it hardens, especially for a detailed project. At first I found it a little difficult to mix the two parts together (I covered a section of my granite countertop with plastic wrap and rolled/kneaded it until it was a consistent color) but it got easier to work as it gradually became more incorporated. For my application of smoothing a thin layer over a plastic egg during the first hour was very easy as the texture was soft and very pliable (I'd compare it to pottery clay), but for adding texture (I used an object to press into the Apoxie sculpt) I had to let it sit for an extra 15-20 min, by then it was firm enough to hold an impression without pulling up. I'm very pleased with the results, I already intend to buy some more for another craft project I have in mind =)So I am a little late updating this… anyways these eggs lasted until 2023, they had been moved and dropped a couple times plus with fluctuating temps they endured a fair amount of rough treatment. I think it did very well surviving in my yard. Have also used this to fix random things around the house (attachment point on a led bike light, corner piece of a decorative pillar, & handle to a gutter hose attachment to name a few things). Have purchased a second time. Holds acrylic paint very well. If using on something outside recommend a uv protectant spray/coating.

Great hobby product
Best two part epoxy resin out there. sets rock hard and is drillable, sandable and can also be tapped if needed.Great for small repairs and also full model builds.

Not white, but good product
Great stuff but:1. It does not dry anywhere near “white/stone white” it’s more of a grey. Yes you can paint it but if you’re painting it white, it requires many layers and this obscures surface detail.2. Difficult to sculpt with gloves on, so you’re basically forced to expose yourself to a toxic material. For me it creates dry/irritated skin.3. Beyond those two things, fabulous product that is no less than a life saver if you need to add to an already baked polymer clay sculpture that can’t be further baked.

Sinceramente genial
