The colors are vibrant and the writing is smooth and made out of good materials. I use them for everything from writing to drawing and they create a very good smooth picture and writing area. they don't smear easily either so they are very versatile and a good over all product for fun and serious writing alike. If you have a 2.0mm mechanical pencil I would recommend these.
