If your in to great recordings and a rarity at that, buy this album while you can. Not many opportunities to buy vinyl that was recorded to vinyl during the session. It was 1 shot as it was cut giving it the true to life sound and not doctored up like a regular studio album. Great songs good arrangement. Just like a Jack concert, songs are put on with their own little spin and sound. What's even better it's cut at Jack Whites studio venue that just screams cool. Good pressing decent weighted vinyl although it's not 180 grain. Personally feel it's better than the en concert Jack Johnson album. If you don't have a record player, go buy 1 (thrift store, eBay Amazon, your grandparents house, or local record shop) and buy good albums like this. Sit back and listen to some analog. I don't know if its just my version, but the record came pretty warped but not enough for me to not play it. The record is also really flimsy which i think might be a characteristic of the acetate. It's also really large to the point that I can't close my pro-ject while listening. (I think when pressing they didn't cut off the excess vinyl on the outer portion ) Not a huge deal but I think they should of been more careful when pressing this. It makes you feel like your at a intemement concert with him :). He makes a few mistakes which don't bother me because it feels so personable.The part of the album that I dislike is the vocals drown out the instruments. Hes a good singer, but it would be nice to be able to hear the harmonica with out turning my stereo so load. That my neighbors can her Jack Johnson sing. Insterments are so lacking that in Good People you mostly just here Jack J.
