Besides the quantity, did the reflectors work effectively? Do they concentrate light in a focused area?

Yes the reflectors do work effectively, and should be handled with care.  You can see functional applications from solar ovens to solar stirling engines.

What are the sizes of these reflectors? Are all 3 priced at $34.00? I am most interested in one that is 18" diameter.

Dear Marilyn.  I am not sure where you are shopping at. It looks like Scientifics  direct. I have a 12 in @ $41.95, They also have 18 in $59.95 24 in $ 84.95. They are made of metal & have an opening about the size of your thumb in the center.They are of good optical quality. There are also many other companies selling this product. May i suggest, Green power science. (you tube). Buy a huge Fresnel lens. They sell SUPERIOR optical parabolic mirrors made of acrylic 6 in $37. 13 in $69. 17 in $79(mine) 26 in $129. 29 in  $179. 35 in $279. 46 in $429. & larger.Sorry i got carried away. Hope you find this helpful. Bob. PS. CAUTION .All of these, especially the larger mirrors are capable of causing SEVERE eye damage !

What is the height of this reflector?

The diameter of the dish is 23 & 1/2 inch.  The depth is 6 inches.   I bought more than one size so I don't know if this is the one you are asking about.

Question 4

I'd like to plant veggies in a not-too-sunny, glassed in, bright, fluorescent-lighted room with skylights.  Can this be aimed at the "garden"?

No. The parabolic dish is used to focus the light to a point from 3 to 5 inches above the bottom of the dish. I can't see it working for what you are talking about. I guess if it was set up in such a way it would let the light continue past the focal point and then defuse into the room so it might provide additional light but a mirror put in the same spot would reflect additional light into the room.
