With a thread locking action that eliminates vibration induced loosening. Can replace traditional paste/hemp combinations. **Q: Is this the same as loctite 577?**
A: It's probably not identical to Loctite 577 but it does the same thing and does it very effectively.  It's very easy to use, the bottle design facilitates this.  I've not used Loctite 577, so I can't tell you if it's easier to use but I can't see how it could be any easier.  The Loctite instructions look more complicated.
