I’ve had sharpeners in the past and never been able to use them effectively, never knowing if I was using the right technique. This sharpener has very clear instructions and it’s obvious when you are doing it right. My knives are now so sharp I have had to change the way I cut things to avoid cutting my fingers.The only thing you need to make sure of, before you buy, is that you have a fixed flat surface, like glass, to attach it to.
