Good, clean fun -- at least this season. Seems that each episode is well filmed and there seems to be good character development. Good idea to use the original Flash TV actor in this series as Barry's dad. Surprising twist with Dr. Wells. Like the cross over with the other DC series (Arrow, Supergirl [the Flash showed up on one of the episodes in the first season of Supergirl, which we are also watching]). Nice to see the outtakes as well, when provided. There is a lot of trash on TV these days; it was nice to sit down and watch episodes that are not in that category. We give it five stars! Really wasn't Into the superhero show thing but I caught an episode of this an I was hooked . The show itself is so good that it got me interested in the other superhero /comic shows. I'm a big fan of arrow an Gotham an super girl , but it all started because of this show. Another thing this show did was got me re-interested in comicbooks again , of which the flash seris is one I read . Much more realistic about a young man gaining extraordinary abilities through a lightning strike yet at the same time retaining his inbred humility AND humanity. Grant Gustin makes a hero you want to cheer for & even cry with when he's down--because his mom's death & dad's imprisonment are the prime motivations behind his constant desire for true justice for all--even criminals in StarLab's "pipeline" at next to last season episode. He also heeds the advice of a great team behind him (despite Dr. Wells' deviousness), always wanting the best for everyone yet expecting very little in return--a true giving spirit that's hard to find in this world today.
