Once in, it provides a dedicated iDrac ethernet port, and upgrades the server to iDrac Enterprise, which includes the ability to open a remote virtual console to the server. That feature alone makes it worth its weight in gold to a Datacenter operator like myself, but it also brings with it virtual media, and a host of other management tools that make it a really nice add. I see one other review that talks about a damaged card - I suppose that whenever we buy used devices this is a risk - so follow common sense and use a well-rated seller, and you should do fine.
