⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rock Solid Fixings – Perfect for Insulated Plasterboard!
I used these TV Wall Fixings to mount a 32” flat screen TV on a wall that I had installed insulated plasterboard on, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. They provided an incredibly strong and secure anchor point, with absolutely no movement, sagging, or any signs of strain — even after the TV was fully mounted. Installation was straightforward thanks to the supplied drill bit, and the quality of the fixings gives real confidence that the load is properly supported. If you’re planning to fix anything heavy to insulated plasterboard, these are an absolute must. Solid performance, great value, and total peace of mind — exactly what you want when trusting a product to hold your TV! Highly recommended.

Exceptional Strength Even in Soft UK Thermal Blocks
These fixings are seriously impressive. I’ve used them on soft thermal blocks commonly found in UK housing, and they still hold incredibly securely, which gives a lot of confidence when mounting heavier items like TVs or shelving. Installation is straightforward with the included drill bit, and once fitted they feel completely solid. The design really helps bridge the gap between plasterboard and the softer blockwork behind it, which makes a big difference compared to standard fixings that can feel unreliable in these walls. Even in less dense materials like thermal blocks, they don’t loosen or shift, and everything feels locked in place properly. It’s one of those fittings where once it’s up, you don’t think about it again. Easily a 5-star product — especially impressive in modern UK housing materials where many other fixings struggle.

Great Fixings
Perfect fixings, It is a challenge drilling through the soft plasterboard then trying to align the drill as best as possible when going through the cinder block behind due to its uneven construction (the drill will want to wander) but these plugs worked perfectly highly recommend for dot and dab walls, nice and strong, would recommend buying more than you need if using for the first time though just in case.

A godsend but.......not as easy to install as they make out
A godsend but.......not as easy to install as they make out Firstly, you should drill a hole depth a bit deeper than they recommend. This is because rubble/debris falls and collects at the back of the hole thereby shortening the hole's length, and this results in the plug and/or the screw bottoming out (not being driven in all the way). The instructions, in the form of 'pictorials', do recommend blowing air into the holes to clear debris before inserting plug and screw, but doing so isn't always possible. The next issue is that sometimes the hole is tight which means you have to bang quite hard on the plug to knock it into the hole. This can result in the head of the plug collapsing/crumbling before you have driven it in all the way. Also, hard banging can lead to damage to the plasterboard. Next up, is the issue of the plug head. This has a large flange/shoulder which has to be knocked quite hard for it to sink into the wall so as to be flush with the wall surface. So that's yet more banging; not good. Of the six fixings I put up only one of them went in 100% smoothly just like the adverts and review demos. My advice for a totally hassle free application is to do as follows: ~ buy a compressed air canister before you start ~ to be on the safe side, drill hole depth a lot deeper than recommended (for 95mm fixings, drill hole depth to around 110mm) ~ make the back end of the hole a tiny bit wider (you can do this by using a drill bit one or two sizes smaller in diameter and then wiggle it around at the back of the hole) ~ use a countersunk bit or drill bit the same diameter as the plug's flange to create a recess just deep enough to accept the flange without you having to hammer home the plug too much in order to make it lay flush with the wall surface. Once those preparations are made this kit will be effortless to install. Once installed these fixings are incredibly strong. I didn't bother to test the claim that one of the two brackets I put up to support my oven, can take 70kg. However, it's clearly a neat and effective solution to the problem of securing heavy items to a 'dot and dab' wall.

Solid fixing of heavy loads.
This fitting does exactly what it is designed for. It provides a perfect solution when fixing through plaster and dab surfaces into the solid blockwork behind. I’ve used it on a number of occasions and am delighted. GS.

Great product fir fixing HEAVY TV’s to dab and dot walls
Like so many homes I have a dab and dot walls in a recent extension. These are great except that, like so many, there’s a void (gap) between the plaster boards and the concrete blocks behind them. These fixings are MADE for this scenario. The screws look fairly thin but they are holding a TV bracket, supporting a TV weighing 73KG (and taking 3 of us to lift it, I can attest that that IS heavy! 😱). Using traditional plaster board fittings would have ripped straight out of the wall and no doubt left several sizeable holes. These fixings (being LONG) transfer the weight through the gap and into the concrete with a clever steel sleeve (called a CORE) bridging the gap between the plaster board and the concrete, so effectively taking the weight off the plaster board. Easy to use, just make sure you have a long enough size 10 drill bit (at least 150mm) and follow the instructions. Peace of mind is a great thing especially when wall mounting a big TV. The pack says 4 fixings will hold up to 100 kg’s - whilst I’m sure they do, I used six (belt and braces), but they do exactly what they claim they do.

Amazing
Whoever thought of these fixings should be awarded a medal, my last two houses have dot and dab walls, in my opinion these are the only fixings to really work, I’m only a diy guy but five stars all round.

Amazing!
I bought this TV hanging kit, not for hanging a TV but for a support on a large desk that has cabinets either side. I wanted a support in the middle to stop the desk bowing in the middle and these ere perfect to go into the breeze blocks behind the dot and dab wall. My work these are strong! Just make sure you drill the full depth of the plug into the all / block and hammer in the metal sleeve and these things are not going anywhere. Yes they are expensive but for me getting the kit with the correct drill bit and everything needed, it was well worth it. The drill bit is quite good too and went through the block with easy on a handheld drill Overall an amazing product that will give you full confidence in hanging something heavy.
