Wikki Stix (which are wax-covered string) are it! My preschooler enjoyed playing with them on the airplane, and when we reached our destination, her older cousins loved playing with them too. They can be re-used many times.This set comes with a bunch of the Stix and also cardboard cards where you can practice making basic shapes and combining basic shapes. My daughter was not interested in the cards and neither were her older cousins.
