This is only my opinion. **Q: Volume knob no longer works on jensen vr209tp. first of all....can the volume knob be replaced/fixed? and if not....what replaces this model?** A: No----it cant be repaired. This is the biggest piece of junk radio I have ever had. Had to replace mine after only 18 months and could not find a direct replacement for it. Maybe someone has one now. **Q: Is Jvr 212 plug compatible with jvr 210** A: I can't respond to the compatibility issue, but I will loudly say that we will NEVER buy another vehicle outfitted with ANY Jensen product. We've replaced our Jensen TV with a Sony (but will probably go with LG next time) due to poor performance. We are on our third Jensen radio/CD/Camera system in five years - the AM signal was always crappy to non-existent, and now the FM signal is also fading. I judge this by considering that I can get a station (AM or FM) on my 15-year-old Sony Walkman, but not on the Jensen radio. Jensen is just plain crap. We are currently working on the purchase of a brand-new RV, and one of the non-negotiable items in our purchase order is, absolutely NO JENSEN PRODUCTS. **Q: My jvr210 cd player no longer works in my motor home.. can i buy a plug compatible radio etc from jensen??** A: The model we bought was refurbished and was the same as the one in our 2013 Itasca Navion that failed. I am sorry to report that after a year it is starting to fail.
