Too often it can be brushed under the rug because we assume that students know the grammar. This book is for the direct instruction of the parts of speech, phrases, and clauses; it also explains how and why they are used. It's a great precursor to the Grade 9 book that takes the concepts a little deeper.

If you get this product, you should know that there is no answer page for any of the exercises. Sometimes answers are in the back of the book. Not here. It's a great book for the exercises, but if you don't know where the answers go yourself, you might have a problem.
