**Q: The image of the bottle shows a flip top cap. Is this correct?**
A: You are correct.

**Q: will this work on the bottom of pots and pans?**
A: While I have no doubt Bore Tech C4 Carbon Remover will clean ANY carbon-based discoloration within the bores of handguns, rifles, and shotguns, I don't recall that the product is safe to eat!  I really don't recommend doing this, but if you really had to ask, you've probably already tried it.  God Bless Us ALL!!!
