Definitely worth the money and obviously looks a solid deterrent, I personally recommend providing you get the quality one, seen some on other site begins with E ends in Y didn't look particularly good.. take care.. **Q: What are the dimensions of the eye? As need to get a chain through it and want to be sure it fits. Thanks** A: The dimensions are from the backplate to the inside of the eye, 21mm. Across the inside of the eye, 14.5mm at the narrowest point. **Q: Can you tell me what size screws Iā€™d need with this?** A: The screw you would require is a No.8 screw, the length is down to your requirements. **Q: Would this be okay to use for a rope washing line** A: The item should be easily strong enough, I use mine in the garage so it does not get wet and so I can't comment on how rust proof it is, but it looks good to me. ## Customer Reviews ### āāāāā good product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 April 2026* good sturdy bracket ### āāāāā Each fix with 4 screws ( not included ) can take a length of chain if not to thick *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 June 2026* I bought these to run a length of chain through for my wheeled bins to secure them against theft and weather works perfect chain they are bolted to wooden fence posts which are 2gt deep ( part of my fencing ) and the bins are secured with chain going through all the handles and padlocked at both ends to these I used 4 as IV 8 bins, it keeps th from being thrown around in high winds or anyone stealing them ### āāāā No screws. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 April 2026* Good, robust item.
