It has Ammonium Laureth Sulfate in it, which has a reputation for being a bit harsh. But a plus, is that it has dimethicone in it, which maybe balances the Sulfate. I am sure it adds body, but I think there might be a potential for long term damage unless your hair is super healthy. I am going to return it.
