You will notice this if you install them in a door that gap around the perimeter of the face of the product isn't consistent. No it's not the expensive oak doors I put them into nor is it the mortise into the door that is causing this problem. So you will see that one corner when mounted is lifted from the door face by as much I mention above. I checked the bend/twist of them by laying them all on the face of a 4S piece of quality wood for reference. This bend looks crappy and make as nicely finished door look bad and cheap, especially with a 1/16" of a gap on a corner. I had to take them, protect the finish with wood pieces and put them in a vise and unbend the flaw out of them so they sit flat and look good. The cup portion is tack welded onto the flat front piece that is bent so I'm not sure if it is a heat issue/difference between the two pieces when they are joined but again 9 of 10 pieces came bent or twisted in respect to diagonally across the face of the product. The manufacture needs to fix their manufacturing process to prevent this, otherwise, the product is nice. Good finish, the insides are a little sharp but no enough you worry about getting a cut. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits nice and flush. *by D***C on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2017* These have a nice solid look and feel to them. I used a router to notch out the wood and they just simply work. The screws that come with it are pretty small and function fine since their only function is to keep the handle from falling out and not needed for any kind of structural support. Nice smooth interior so no worries about getting cut. I added my video of the interior door lock I used on my barn door but I did it because it shows the handle briefly.
