Was pleasantly surprised to see a one way degassing valve on the pack. And I got a small pack free as a promotion they are running. As far as taste goes, this is the first filter coffee brand I'm trying, having seen it at many local bfast places in Bangalore. So qualitatively cannot compare it to another brand, but it does taste like a regular filter coffee so I'm happy! The only bad part is the quantity. I wish they offered smaller packs of 250 grams. It will last way too long for me! Doesn't smell as fresh as the regular coffee beans I buy but this is a more commercial product so roast and grind to order doesn't exist here. Taste is subjective so it's worth cycling through the different brands available to see what you love. I found it mild, not too strong, quite pleasant. But I'm still figuring out proportions with the South Indian filter.
