They don't describe it very well in their packaging so do not buy the additional accessories. **Q: I expected the Gardena Aquazoom to be metal-is there not a metal product with similar features?** A: There are products with more metal but this one is the best all-around that I've found. **Q: Do any of the sprinklers control the height of the water sweep? The older models had a knob but I don't see it on any of these.** A: The best control for height of the spray is water pressure. Adjusting the pattern (width/distance) at a given pressure also affects the height. **Q: I am thinking of getting another one, but concerned about it breaking. How strong are the little adjustments knobs? I change them often. Warranty?** A: I have two of these and love them when they are working. I have large areas to water and it is great for that. I have returned two units, one wouldn't rotate anymore and one was very leaky, water coming out from where it shouldn't. One lasted one year, more or less, one lasted only a few months. Both times I received a new unit under warranty but the postage to return these sprinklers is high and the warranty doesn't cover that. I suspect many people don't take the time and money it takes to return them. I have not had any problems with the adjustments and I also change them often. I'm not getting the advertised range but I think that is because we are using an extremely long hose. ### ⭐ Appalling coverage stay away *by A***N on 18 August 2021* This was my third Gardena Aquazoom L. The previous two used the old design but 2 or 3 years outside in British weather is all they get before they die. But the coverage was always great for our low North London water pressure. They did the whole garden (60m2). This new design of the same sprinkler is appallingly bad. Water at full pressure barely went above my waist and covered about 10m2. Far from the “350m2” stated on the box. And we checked our water pressure and it has not gone down and also I checked and double checked all the settings including the flow optimiser which actually just is a tap for less water flow. No way does this come close to the previous design and my wife and I just laughed it was so bad. Will have to look for different sprinklers or try and find the old design somewhere.
