It covers the edges enough that I think it will protect it (see pic of case on phone).It is white rubber with the winter scene being a heavy duty sticker that seems permanent. The edges have a rough clear pattern that I really like. The texture is great to hold on to the cell. The winter themed sticker is more cream than white. It has a slight sparkle to it that is barely seen.
