**Q: Did anyone else notice that these Kirkland batteries got rated BEST BUY by Consumer Reports March 2015, but only 3rd best AA battery?**
A: They have been rated quite high but the quality has really sunk over the last few years. I have noted MANY kirklands that leak in devices. I wont usethem anymore. Batteries stopped leaking years ago, apparently the Chinese made Kirklands are made cheaply and shoddily. Good luck with yours!

Over on CANDLEPOWERFORUMS.COM which is everything to do with flashlights. There was a study that had KIRKLAND rated in the top.I've bought KIRKLAND for many years now.These are terrific batteries.Tom

Bought these in March of 2023, manufacturer claims they have a 7 year shelf life. Not true, the majority of them have leaked and are useless. I had them stored in a plastic container in a hallway closet.
