**Q: how to program tharemote**
A: you have to set the dip switches to the same position as the one in the receiver . if you are buying more transmitter's just take the back off of one you have and set the new ones to the same position.

**Q: What type of batteries does the remote need?**
A: Battery for the remote is type A23 12V.

**Q: Can I use my smartphone with this gate?**
A: Sorry, the E8 system does not support the use of smartphone with it.

**Q: Will these units work on the Ghost opener system?**
A: I don’t know what that is, sorry
