    Handy option for mounting PCB boards in structured wiring enclosures.

This mount is designed for use inside a structured wiring cabinet.  It is a metal panel with a 1/4" thick plastic panel mounted to it.  It has a little gap between the plastic board and the metal backing panel which makes the plastic a little less sturdy, but sturdy enough.The unit comes with 6 standoffs and metal screws, but I opted to use a one-piece nylon pcb mount with a threaded end that I screwed into the plastic.  The plastic panel is soft, but sturdy enough that I was able to tap 6/32 holes for the pcb stand-offs without any problems.  I was surprised at how well the holes held up even after tightening down the stand-offs and applying quite a bit of pressure to mount the pcbs.All-in-all, this is a great way to mount pcbs in a structured wiring enclosure.  Though, having some gap between the metal panel and the enclosure would have been nice to route wiring.  I suppose this unit would be better attached to a lifting grid panel.
