Wow! Beautiful to look at, comfortable to hold, an absolute experience to drink from. A++ for this Copper mug. After debating and reading and searching, I am so pleased with my purchase. Now that I have used the mug, I am completely sold...unlined real copper is the only way to go. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's a cup *by B***T on April 23, 2016* It's a pretty cup. However, I find it tough to get excited about it because, well, it's a cup. I can say that I had hoped for a heavier feel, and certainly for a thicker handle. The thumb tab on top helps but even that isn't as wide as I thought it would be. Right now it's just doing duty as a bookshelf accent piece. Life would certainly go on without it in my possession. This is coming from someone who normally uses ceramic coffee mugs, so I was expecting something with a heft and handle feel more like that. Also my boyfriend had gotten a very nice stainless steel coffee cup that I liked, and again, I guess I was hoping for something more like that.I've used it for drinks a couple of times, but just water. I've never had the namesake drink, but maybe I'll give one of the recipes they sent after I purchased this mug a try at some point. I do think that the recipe "book" and the thumb tab (minimal as it is) would be a good enough reason to get this cup instead of another one (assuming that you---like me---don't already have some recipes).There was a large discoloration on the bottom of the cup where the "Sirquit" was engraved. It came off with some Barkeeper's Friend and a scotch pad, but it looks that scrubbing may have removed some protective finish. It wasn't a big deal, being on the bottom of the cup, so maybe I should have left it alone, but so far in my limited use I don't notice any problem having done it. Again, I don't really use the cup at this point, nor have I ever used one like this, so I don't know what's normal and what's not.I feel like it's at least as good as any others out there, but since I've never actually put my hands on another "Moscow Mule" mug before, I have nothing to compare it to. I wouldn't even have written a review at all because of this, but they seemed to really want me to, so here it is. I feel like, if it were necessary, their customer service would be good because they have contacted me several times requesting a review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mug was nice, packaging was cheap (if gifting) *by B***N on February 29, 2016* I'm probably like everyone else when it comes to searching for the best price/quality. Normally when a product has all great reviews it's generally a product I buy even if it cost a little more. I tend to read all the low reviews first since they seem to point out things that might be problematic. I noticed the reviews here were all pretty good so I ordered 5 mugs (smooth mug with thumb rest) in November 2015 for Christmas gifts. I placed them into gift baskets/buckets with a bunch of other bar related items. The baskets were very well received. However two of the mugs came delivered in partially crushed boxes thus making them looked used. One of the mugs even had a partial 1/8 scratch in the finish and if I had to guess someone either returned it or it was opened somewhere along the line. I kept that one for myself. The boxes were made up of thin cardboard like most over seas items are often packaged in. They had a sticker on them that said made in India but I peeled that off. I e-mailed the company owner (Mark) along with pictures. He blamed Amazon since he said the mugs ship from Amazon. He seemed helpful at first and said he would exchange them. But he kept making excuses. First that they were busy because of the holidays. Then claiming they were out of stock, or they no longer carried the model I ordered. Ultimately it was never resolved but I just kinda dropped it since Christmas was over and I already gifted what I had. Ironically I got an e-mail from him Jan 1st wishing me a Happy New Year where he even said he was still intending to make good on the order. After three months I think it's unlikely. But, the mugs were nice. It's used weekly for a drink or two and it's still shiny. I paid @$17 each in November if people are comparing prices. Some friends got cheaper copper mugs at either Target or Walmart that they showed me but the ones I ordered were heavier. Their mugs seemed to be plated copper.
