This is not the case.Had it on our kitchen on for 2 days straight not a single fly has fall to it, fly's keep dancing around it and I end up having to kill them with spray after a while as always. One night I even left it on all night with 2 fly's trapped with it in the living room, the Fly's did not go near it the whole night, had to kill them again in the morning the normal way.The product is advertise wrongly even the manual states "only mosquitoes" and advise to place it in a dark quiet room.
